HELLO AGAIN!
The Songs of Allan Sherman
"Screamingly funny.
Don’t miss it!"
Don Grigware | Broadway World Review
Linden Waddell created and stars in a hilarious, warm, nostalgic look into the comic genius of Allan Sherman and his parody lyrics.
Before "Weird Al" Yankovic there was another "Al" - Allan Sherman – who became an instant celebrity in 1962 when he sang and recorded his devilishly clever parody lyrics on the album "My Son, The Folk Singer." His zany songs hit just the right nerve with the American public and his first three Warner Bros. albums shot to Number One.
Sherman won a Grammy Award for "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh" - a song blaring from record players in every household in the early 1960's. In "Hello Again! The Songs of Allan Sherman," singer/comedienne Linden Waddell performs a compilation of his wittiest ditties, highlighting Sherman's talent and taking us back to a simpler time. It's a performance of laughs and nostalgia for Baby Boomers and new 'yuks' for a younger generation. Click here to contact the promoter.

WHO’S WHO?
DON HECKMAN, INT’L REVIEW OF MUSIC
“A captivating evening of music and humor. Gales of audience laughter… an evening’s worth of hilarious songs overflowing with gag lines in virtually every phrase. The packed audience at Gardenia gave Waddell a roar of final applause, the equivalent of a string of curtain calls.”
Elliot Zwiebach, CABARET SCENES
“Waddell did them all justice with her strong, wide-ranging voice, which encompasses a soaring soprano, a Merman belt and a solid feel for sweet irony. When combined with extremely well-developed acting chops, she was in absolutely top form singing great songs with familiar melodies and amazingly funny lyrics.”
